Assembly Supervision and Periodic Maintenance

You can prevent early failures by getting support from our expert supervisors during assembly and periodical maintenance of your large size and critical gearboxes. Regardless of the brand, we offer periodic maintenance service for all kinds of heavy series (mill, rotating oven, turbo compressor, generator applications) gearboxes under LUFKIN - Part of GE Oil & Gas guarantee. 

During periodic maintenance, oil analysis, visual inspection, endoscopy and vibration measurements are performed. If any damage is found, we are able to offer you a solution by replacing necessary components in the field. If further repair is needed, your gearbox can be taken to LUFKIN production and repair facility in France.

Gear and Gearbox Repair

Our gearbox repair service offers you the chance to utilize your replaced heavy series gearboxes (20 kNm torque capacity and above) without changing external dimensions, foot print, shaft center distances, input-output speeds and minimum torque values of the original gearbox.

We are able to design a new gearbox based on the drawings of your original gearbox or in case these are not available our technicians are able to come on-site to take 3D measurements.

In many cases, we can upgrade the internal gear structure to ensure higher reliability and operational life time while keeping the external dimensions same as the original design. All necessary upgrades/repairs are performed at Lufkin France facilities.Our compact design principle allows us to furnish the repaired gearbox with new instrumentation (vibration sensors, coolers, lubrication and support systems) for easy recommissioning when needed.

So you will have a reliable back-up to avoid long unplanned stoppages in your production.
